Member, Committee on Inclusion, Equity, and Diversity
- - Collaborate with other committee members to develop and implement initiatives to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) in the college, including our Faculty Initiative that started in 2021
  - Assess the college’s current policies, practices, and culture to identify areas for improvement in DEI
  - Recommend changes to the college’s policies and practices to promote DEI
  - Work with college leadership to develop and implement DEI-related trainings for faculty, staff, and students
  - Develop and implement outreach and engagement activities to promote DEI and support underrepresented groups
  - Provide guidance and support to faculty and staff to ensure that teaching and learning practices promote DEI

  - Completed three levels of LinkedIn Learning modules and accompanying campus discussions and programming
Representative, CUNY SPS Governing Council
- Represent the interests of faculty and staff in the CUNY SPS governing council
- Participate in council meetings and decision-making processes

  - Brainstorm changes to policies and practices to promote a culture of care
  - Serve as a liaison between the culture of care subcommittee and other relevant groups or departments within the institution
  - Participate in institutional-wide strategic planning and decision-making activities related to promoting a culture of care
  - Keep abreast of developments in promoting a culture of care and apply this knowledge to the subcommittee’s work

- Initiate formation of club with student club officers and members
- Provide guidance and support to the student nurses association (SNA) officers and members
- Assist the SNA in developing and achieving its goals and objectives
- Facilitate communication between the SNA and nursing department leadership
- Attend and participate in SNA meetings and events
- Promote the SNA and its activities to nursing students
- Advise the SNA on event planning, budgeting, and fundraising
